Working closely with short-term rental owners revealed a clear need for consistent, high-quality operations — which naturally led us into co-hosting and eventually running our own Airbnb properties.

Operating our own listings allowed us to refine systems, optimize software, and master the full guest journey — from pricing and communication to turnovers and quality control. Today, we offer full-scale short-term rental management grounded in that hands-on experience, supported by in-house cleaning standards that ensure consistency and professionalism.

Welcome to Embark Journey Rentals.

My journey into short- and medium-term rental management began in the service industry, where I developed a deep respect for operational excellence and creating exceptional guest experiences. Early in my career, I built and operated a web design and digital marketing company, sharpening my understanding of branding, online positioning, and conversion strategy — skills that now directly impact how our properties perform in a competitive market.

After relocating from Ontario to British Columbia, I founded Bee’s Knees Cleaning, where we became known for our hotel-standard systems and attention to detail within the short-term rental community. Through years of working closely with property owners and refining our own hosting practices, Embark Journey Rentals naturally evolved — expanding from operational support into full-scale management.

Today, as Owner of Embark Journey Rentals, I oversee all operations for our management clients — from guest experience and communication to pricing strategy, performance tracking, and quality control. With extensive hands-on experience in cleaning, hosting, and revenue optimization — combined with formal education in hotel management — I bring both practical execution and informed hospitality principles to every property we manage.
